Our pure organic cotton bath mats are made from 100% organic cotton, this means that the cotton is grown in ground certified for the use of organic cotton and processed into sheeting without harsh chemicals or toxic dyes.

• machine wash separately in cold water
• do not use fabric softeners as this puts a coating on the towels and they are less absorbent
• line dry in shade if possible to avoid bleaching by the sun

Whitening Agents and Bleaches

Do not use any products with whiteners or bleaching agents as these remove the colour.

These whitening agents have been creeping into the everyday products that we use such as: acne creams, some face creams, some hand washes, nappysan, whitening toothpaste as well as everyday cleaners. If unsure check the products ingredients (one of the main culprits is benzoyl peroxide).

Marks do not show up straight away, they normally appear hours later or during washing when the chemicals react with water results in patchy discoloured marks, which very depending on the original colour of the product.
